The final was a close affair, with the track starting to become a little moist as the race went on, and with both Darren and Graham on the dry weather tyres it was a very close battle that they both enjoyed. Darren came through to win by a scant 4 seconds to make it a Bullitt engine 1-2 at the head of the field.
